An engineer on your side of the table.
We act as the owner's eyes on a build we are not running, checking the work against the drawings and catching problems while they are still cheap to fix.
Why owners hire us for this
On most builds the only people who understand what is happening on site are the people being paid to build it. That is not an accusation, it is a structural problem: the owner cannot check what they cannot read.
Supervision puts an engineer on the owner's side of that table. We have no interest in the contractor's margin and no work to protect on the job, so what we tell you is what we see.
The three things that go wrong
- Work against the drawings. What is being built, compared to what was approved. Deviations are easiest to fix on the day they happen and most expensive once they are buried.
- Materials. Whether what arrived is what was specified and paid for.
- Stage by stage. Problems caught at the right stage are corrections. The same problems found later are demolition.
Especially if you are not there
Supervision matters most to owners who cannot walk the site themselves: people working long hours, people living in another district, and families building on their own land from overseas.
If you are managing a build from abroad, this is the service that turns a leap of faith into something you can actually verify. Tell us how much detail you want and how often, and we will tell you honestly what we can do.
