Named after the hill we build under.
Shivapuri Dristi ("the view of Shivapuri") has been doing engineering, construction and interior work under that hill for more than fifteen years.
An engineering company that also swings the hammer
Most building problems in Kathmandu come from the gap between the people who design, the people who approve, and the people who build. We closed that gap by doing all three: our own drawings, our own municipality submissions, our own crews on site.
That's why a project with us can start at any point. Some clients come with an empty plot and leave with a finished, approved house. Some come with drawings that keep getting rejected at the ward office. Some just want an honest engineer to supervise a contractor they've already hired. All of those are normal jobs for us.
We work residential and commercial, with our deepest experience in Budhanilkantha, Tarkeshwor and Gokarneshwor (municipalities whose approval processes we deal with week in, week out), and we take on projects across the Kathmandu valley.
The office
We work out of Budhanilkantha-8, Hattigaunda. Drawings, municipality paperwork and site coordination all run from this room, which is why you can usually get an answer the same day rather than waiting on a subcontractor to call back.
Walk in with your plot papers or a rejected naksa and someone will look at them with you.
Straight answers first
Before quoting, we look at the site or the drawings and tell you what the job actually involves, including the parts that are cheaper done differently, or not worth doing at all. A build goes better when the honest conversation happens at the start.
The full sequence, from the first message to the keys, is on how we work.
